Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will work with machine operators and technicians to diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and implement repairs to ensure uptime and quality.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment reliability, and collaboration across maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in crane and rigging operations.
• Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs.
• Experience working with electrical 460VAC and electrical schematics.
• Forklift training and certification provided by the company.
• Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided.
• Hot work training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of failure and recommends repair solutions.
• Collaborates with operators, technicians, and material handlers to understand failures or fabrication needs.
• Records details of machine malfunctions and required adjustments.
• Performs test runs to ensure proper function and alignment with quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety, and organization of maintenance tools and work areas.
• Repairs building and grounds equipment as needed to ensure safety of employees.
• Performs preventive maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled.
• Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance tasks.
• Completes all required safety permits, assessments and practices for assigned tasks.
