Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a maintenance mechanic for an industrial manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently by performing preventive maintenance, reading manuals, and troubleshooting malfunctions.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience reading blueprints, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Forklift certification can be provided by the company as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Mechanical skills are essential for ongoing equipment maintenance.
• Electrical skills are preferred for troubleshooting and repair work.
• Welding skills are a plus to support structural and fixture work.
• Ability to read basic machine blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building, and grounds
• Constructs fixtures as required
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled
• Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds
• Removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe, efficient operation
• Troubleshoots systems to find causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment, tools, and fixtures
• Other duties will be assigned as needed
