Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain safe, efficient production equipment and facilities. The role focuses on maintaining machines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance while collaborating with operators and technicians.

Strong experience with crane/rigging, electrical 460VAC schematics, and lockout/tagout procedures is required. Lift capability up to 40 lbs and willingness to train on forklift and hot work are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in crane and rigging operations.
• Experience in hydraulic and schematic repairs.
• Experience working with electrical 460VAC and electrical schematics.
• Lockout/Tag out training provided.
• Hot work training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of machine or equipment failure and recommends repair solutions.
• Collaborates with Machine Operators, Process Technicians, and Material Handlers to understand failures or fabrication needs.
• Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required.
• Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper functionality and alignment with quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas.
• Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure safety of all employees.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled.
• Provides information to contractors regarding maintenance related functions.
• Completes all required safety permits, assessments, and practices relating to assigned tasks.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
