FedEx Logistics maintains and repairs its conveyor and material handling systems, focusing on preventative and predictive work. Technicians diagnose mechanical, electrical and PLC faults, interpret schematics, and use EAM software for data entry and retrieval.

The role requires hands-on welding, fabrication and the ability to read drawings, with safety as a core priority and flexibility for shifts as needed across the operation.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related area and an associate degree preferred.
• Four (4) years experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls and welding/fabrication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and attend trainings and address safety concerns.
• Interpret electrical or mechanical schematics, manuals and specifications to diagnose and repair faults or determine escalation.
• Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
• Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve prescribed data.
• Develop scopes of work and small project plans for local activities.
• May assist lower level technicians and supervise when needed.
• May work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
