Job summary

Sugar Creek Packing Co. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, diagnose faults, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime.

You will work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and follow strict safety protocols. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, using a range of tools, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; electro-mechanical focus preferred.
• 2+ years in maintenance with automated equipment preferred.
• Electrical/electronic responsibilities in a food manufacturing setting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Dismantle and rebuild machinery using hoists, cranes and hand tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance: inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids and filters.
• Follow LOTO procedures and ensure safety compliance.
• Review work orders and complete maintenance tasks promptly.
• Maintain documentation of repairs and training on relay logic and controls.
