Job summary

UniFirst is hiring a Maintenance Technician I in Tulsa/Broken Arrow, OK. The role focuses on repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting. The position offers on-the-job training and a Monday–Friday schedule with possible night/weekend overtime.

You will use hand and power tools, read schematics, and perform safety checks on boilers and systems. Prior maintenance experience is valued; a technical degree is preferred, and a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree in a relevant background preferred.
• Must read blueprints and schematics.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand/power tools and precision measuring devices.
• Ensure safe operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow blueprints and manuals per specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment using diagnostics and testing instruments.
• Record boiler chemistry and wastewater test results and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine safety checks and repairs on boilers.
• Record utility meter readings and address deviations.
• Conduct daily/weekly location and system safety checks.
• Inspect and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and parts.
• Use a CMMS for maintenance tracking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
