Job summary

Rivian is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician I to support plant operations in Normal, IL. You will work on state-of-the-art equipment and receive on-the-job training and mentorship from Journeymen technicians, with opportunities to develop hands-on skills.

You will engage in preventive maintenance, source parts, operate basic metalworking tools, and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar technical field.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
• Experience with basic hand tools and welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-the-job training for career development.
• Perform maintenance per industry standards and preventative tasks.
• Identify and source parts and repair items as needed.
• Operate basic metalworking tools to make/repair parts.
• Utilize CMMS and participate in continuous improvement.
