Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Willing to work off schedule shifts and/or days when necessary.
• Experience in troubleshooting equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance in food/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed plant business plan and KPI's
• Keep equipment running and operational during processing hours
• Perform preventive and urgent maintenance of general production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Proactively resolve issues including root cause analyses and error-proofing controls related to downtime
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment
• Detect faulty operations, report issues to supervision
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Have basic SQF knowledge and understanding
• Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Procedures
