Opal Foods LLC is seeking a Processing Maintenance Technician in Litchfield, MN to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery at the egg processing plant. The role requires working some evenings and weekends, meeting KPIs, and maintaining safety and GMP standards.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to keep equipment running during processing hours.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude for troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Organized and detail oriented in preventive maintenance tasks.
• Willing to work off schedule shifts and weekends as needed.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed plant business plan and KPI’s.
• Keep equipment running and operational during processing hours.
• Perform preventive and urgent maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Proactively address issues with root cause analyses and error proofing.
• Use hand tools, meters and material handling equipment to perform duties.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean.
• Have basic SQF knowledge and adhere to GMPs.
