Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, and food ingredients, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Cedar Rapids, IA site. This on-site role supports manufacturing operations with a focus on reliability, safety, and efficiency.

You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, interpret technical drawings, and document work in the CMMS. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and industrial maintenance experience, with strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Perform maintenance on utility systems including water, air, steam, and cooling systems.
• Interpret P&IDs, schematics, and drawings to support maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, motors, and control circuits.
• Document maintenance activities and shop time in the CMMS.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives with cross-functional teams.
