Job summary

IFF in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep manufacturing equipment running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, interpret P&IDs, and perform preventive maintenance on utility systems, recording work in CMMS.

A High School diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree and CMMS experience are a plus. This on-site role offers teamwork, safety focus, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Perform maintenance on utility systems (water, air, steam, chilled water, glycol cooling).
• Interpret P&IDs, schematics, isometrics, and equipment docs to support tasks.
• Document activities, labor hours, parts usage, and CMMS records; support safety initiatives.
