Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Mapleton, IL is seeking a maintenance technician to execute mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, use basic and specialized tools, update CMMS records, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Some travel may be required; safety and 5S standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance in a factory setting.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• May set up machining operations and perform welding tasks when needed.
• Update CMMS history and participate in CI activities for cost savings.
• Follow safety policies and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Assist lower level technicians and support leadership in small teams.
