Job summary

ATS is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance across our facilities. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, replace defective parts, and test performance to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with technical focus and 3 years' experience, or 5 years' experience or completion of ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identify and source parts and repair items as necessary.
• Set up and operate machining operations including lathe, drill press, grinder.
• Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drive and participate in CI activities - processes, results and cost savings.
• Update CMMS history.
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
• Provide assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to small teams.
• Complete on-the-job and technical self-study programs for career development.
• Follow all safety related policies, rules and guidelines.
