Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our operations in the United States. You will perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment, inspect kilns, conveyors, pumps, motors, and related systems, and keep meticulous records in our CMMS.

The role emphasizes proactive fault identification, lubrication, adjustment, and part replacement to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing operations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, or similar equipment.
Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
Ability to read equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and support machinery.
Inspect kilns, conveyors, pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and related equipment.
Lubricate, adjust, clean, inspect, and replace wear components as required.
Monitor equipment condition and identify potential failures before they impact production.
Assist with predictive maintenance activities, including vibration monitoring, temperature checks, and visual inspections.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and preventive maintenance records.
