Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production and plant equipment in a manufacturing facility. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and service electrical and electronic systems, motors, and PLCs under supervision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, reads technical docs, and adheres to safety rules. This on-site role offers growth and the chance to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Industrial electrical and/or welding certifications preferred.
• Must read and follow quality processes/work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe operations of maintenance tasks.
• Check and refill lubricants, grease lubrication points, inspect machinery during PM.
• Operate shop tools and maintenance machinery as permitted.
• Repair and adjust machinery; assist in disassembly and component replacement.
• Assist in electrical projects and minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in pipe fitting and some installation tasks.
• Maintain HVAC, lighting, water, and other plant systems.
• Support installation of new equipment and improve equipment uptime.
• Maintain production equipment to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing of coatings.
• Contribute to site housekeeping and safety programs.
