Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks an experienced maintenance technician to ensure proper mechanical functioning of plant equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical/electronic malfunctions and perform repairs to keep production running smoothly.

The role involves installing wiring, reading schematics, calibrating machinery, and maintaining tool stocks in a manufacturing environment. OSHA standards and safety-first practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in industrial electrical/mechanical support roles.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of three-phase 480V equipment and NEC basics.
• Safety-conscious with OSHA-related experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair existing electrical and mechanical equipment in production.
• Install power wiring and conduit for new machines.
• Read blueprints and process sheets to guide maintenance.
• Diagnose and test malfunctions and coordinate with plant personnel.
• Calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications and manage parts stock.
• Weld and fabricate as needed during maintenance.
• Prepare maintenance reports for management.
