Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper mechanical functioning of plant equipment and to troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires reading schematics, blueprints, and process diagrams, with responsibilities that include repairs, calibration, and documenting maintenance activities. Opportunities for growth exist within CRH's North American operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training equivalent.
• At least 2 years of industrial electrical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements for electrical/mechanical operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and process sheets.
• Diagnose malfunctions and discuss with facility personnel; replace faulty components.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment per manufacturer specifications; order parts as needed.
• Weld and fabricate as required; maintain tools and safety gear.
