Role Overview: The E/I Technician troubleshoots and repairs electrical/electronic equipment and systems, including process and utility equipment, and control loop calibration. Acts as the primary technical resource for operations, engineering, and maintenance, providing hands-on support, safety oversight, and documentation updates. The role is on 3rd shift, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot controls systems, PLC programming, and software backups.
  • Establish and maintain control loop calibration, ensuring equipment operates within specified parameters.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic failures across the facility.
  • Transfer technical knowledge to team members and support training initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects, develop procedures, and support plant goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; or 8+ years verifiable experience in electronics and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of PID control loops, AC/DC drives, and PLC programming.
  • Strong safety orientation and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years experience.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO, and software tools like Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills.
