Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in Illinois. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and assist with projects on mechanical and electrical equipment including pumps and boilers. Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in industrial maintenance, with familiarity in HVAC and pump systems encouraged.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
At least 2 years in industrial mechanical maintenance.
Ability to read and perform basic math functions.
Experience or familiarity with 480 VAC, three-phase systems desired.
Experience with pump installations helpful.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs/troubleshooting on mechanical and some electrical equipment (pumps, compressed air, boilers, hydraulics).
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
Assist with maintenance projects and housekeeping.
Support maintenance manager with assigned tasks.
Contribute to safe, efficient operations.
