Job summary

Fortive is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Fultonville, NY site. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing manufacturing assets, diagnosing CNC machinery, and supporting facility operations.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and building systems while adhering to safety standards. The position requires reading drawings, knowledge of HVAC and compressors, and strong teamwork with the ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of facilities and manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, CNC, PLCs, pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, compressors and vacuum systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Good communication and ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and facility equipment; minimize downtime by diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform diagnostics and maintenance on CNC lathes.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Maintain HVAC, air compressors, fire systems, and other building systems.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
