Job summary

TechnipFMC in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician with 5+ years in industrial maintenance to maintain and repair production machinery and building systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and ensure safety and reliability of the site.

Responsibilities include monitoring life-safety and fire protection systems, repairing equipment or proposing alternatives to keep production running, and using CMMS/work

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Familiar with building mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life-safety, fire protection and security systems.
• Familiar with process equipment (CNCs, HPUs, presses, etc.).
• Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools.
• Experience with presses, overhead cranes, pressure gauges and precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills; ability to read and interpret data from charts, gauges, dials, blueprints, schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to buildings, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and production machinery.
• Monitor life-safety, fire protection and security systems; report or address abnormal conditions.
• Repair equipment or develop alternatives to keep production operating.
• Use preventive maintenance and work order software systems.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure site safety.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate efficient plans to complete work.
