Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for Franklin, KY. The role works on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a range of mechanical and electrical systems in a modern plant.

You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment like motors, conveyors, pumps, and compressors, with emphasis on safe operation and uptime. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains, reading blueprints, and supporting

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance on manufacturing equipment and plant assets.
• Electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter and schematics.
• Experience with 480V systems and industrial power distribution.
• Troubleshooting of VFDs, motors, and conveyors in an industrial setting.
• Reading blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders.
• Robotic troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and modifications.
• Knowledge of safety practices and compliance in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment per schedule.
• Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues and implement fixes.
• Read blueprints/schematics and plan maintenance tasks from work orders.
• Install and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with VFDs, motors, and conveyors.
• Support robotic troubleshooting and maintain safety compliance.
• Document maintenance actions and update work orders in a timely manner.
