Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Franklin, IN to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various industrial equipment. The role focuses on conveyors, pumps, motors, hydraulics, and production machinery, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Fabricate and modify machine components and brackets; weld as needed.
• Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators) for alignment.
• Perform inspections to identify wear, misalignment, vibration issues and failures.
• Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, and equipment logs.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Fabricate, weld, and modify machine components, guards, brackets, and structural supports as needed.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and alignment tools.
• Conduct machinery inspections to identify wear, misalignment, vibration issues, and potential equipment failures.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, SOP documentation, and equipment logs accurately.
• Safely operate hoists, lifts, cranes, and rigging equipment.
• Adhere to LOTO, confined space, PPE, and other safety procedures.
• Work with production, engineering, and maintenance to improve reliability and plant performance.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs in a fast-paced environment.
