Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain large industrial textile processing equipment and facilities. You will handle start-up/shut-down, electrical troubleshooting, boilers, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and mechanical systems under supervision of the Chief Engineer.

The role requires a minimum of two years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving and reading electrical schematics, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience with knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, boiler applications.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and using proper power/hand tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; ability to follow directions and document work.
• Must be a team player with initiative and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues and responds to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs and ensures all safety rules are followed.
