Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our Lewisville, TX team and support the maintenance of plant machinery and equipment. The role centers on inspecting, repairing, and fabricating components, while upholding safety standards and environmental policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or an apprenticeship. Strong teamwork, communication, and the ability to work unsupervised are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Specialized training in trade school, technical school, apprenticeships, or manufacturers’ training program.
• Have basic computer proficiency and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Can work in a team atmosphere and learn new tasks.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and/or installs plant machinery and equipment per manuals.
• Completes work orders by installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal.
• Conducts routine inspections and reports findings to Area Manager.
• Assists personnel to support their activities.
• Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicles to ensure safety and availability.
