Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant machinery at our Lewisville, TX location. You will inspect, service and install equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards across operations.

Ideal candidates have 3-4 years of plant mechanical repair experience, basic electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety and reliability in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers’ training program.
• 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and installs plant machinery and equipment.
• Maintenance on plant buildings and environmental/safety compliance.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment per manufacturer intervals.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs repairs/adjustments.
• Move and install plants per engineering plans and specifications.
• Disassembles and repairs production equipment by replacing worn/broken parts.
• Performs building maintenance as assigned.
• Adheres to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
• Other duties as assigned.
