Job summary

You will apply industrial electrical and mechanical skills to keep machinery running efficiently, minimize downtime, and support continuous operations across the facility. The role involves working on 480V systems, PLCs, VFDs, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance; 5+ years ideal for senior technicians.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with 480V systems, motors, and electrical panels.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and perform timely repairs.
• Dismantle machines to inspect components and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform minor machining, welding, plumbing as needed for repairs.
• Read electrical schematics to diagnose issues in electrical panels and 480V circuits.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems including VFDs and drives.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Follow safety procedures and actively support plant safety.
• Communicate issues and repair status to supervisors and team members.
• Work independently to resolve equipment problems and keep production running.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production staff to prioritize work orders.
