Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Clifton, NJ is hiring a full-time Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to keep our laundry and processing equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose, repair, and optimize electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work with CMMS documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, familiarity with PLCs, 480V three-phase power, and NFPA 70E safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or production
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards and LOTO procedures
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems with minimal supervision
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic; install and maintain electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on washers, dryers, irons, conveyors, boilers, and related equipment
• Document activities and equipment history in CMMS
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in continuous improvement
