Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is hiring an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, and conveyors. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document work in CMMS while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of motors, PLCs, and ladder logic, and the ability to read schematics. Expect a 4‑day workweek with potential overtime in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, motor controls, VFDs, and 480V three-phase systems.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial washers, dryers, ironers, conveyors, boilers, and pumps.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and track equipment history.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in continuous improvement.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and project support.
