Job summary

Vestis is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support high‑volume laundry operations in Union, NJ. You will work on a shift from 11:00 to 19:30, performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial washers, dryers, and related equipment.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, follow manuals and schematics, manage parts ordering, and maintain safety, housekeeping, and maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to follow manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with good communication.
• Comfort with manual tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plant equipment including industrial washers and dryers.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment following manuals and schematics.
• Order parts and materials according to procurement policy.
• Maintain daily maintenance schedules and records for preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safe, clean work environment and comply with safety policies.
