Job summary
Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is hiring a full-time Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot equipment in our industrial laundry facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and minimize downtime across washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and related systems.
The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance, familiarity with PLCs, schematics, and 480V three-phase systems, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors as
Qualifications
- Requires strong hands-on maintenance ability in an industrial setting.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems including 480V three-phase.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and VFDs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and ladder logic; maintain control wiring up to 480V three-phase.
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
- Document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS.
- Follow safety policies and OSHA requirements, including LOTO and NFPA 70E.
