Job summary
H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Plant Engineer for a busy commercial laundry plant in Ogden, UT.
The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems, reporting to the Chief Engineer. The position offers a day shift (4x10h) from early morning and requires 4+ years of maintenance experience, with boiler experience and PLC knowledge preferred.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of electronics and basic PLC programming.
- Experience in carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility repairs.
Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on industrial processing equipment such as washers, dryers, ironers, water systems and other equipment and systems.
- Responds to daily maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
- Machine startup for each shift and observe operation to ensure efficiency.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments per specifications.
- Maintain electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
