Job summary

Hiland Dairy is seeking an Industrial Maintenance worker for the 3rd shift in Kansas City, MO. The role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production machines on a non-union hourly basis.

Responsibilities include repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components, reading blueprints, and testing operations after repairs. Overtime, weekends, and varying shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Industrial Maintenance or completion of post high school Industrial Maintenance program.
• Hours: Start times may vary, normally 8 hour shifts per day. (Overtime may be required)
• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains mechanical, air, electrical and hydraulic components of equipment following blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications.
• Visually inspects and listens to machines to locate malfunctions.
• Dismantles machines to gain access to problem areas and replaces worn parts.
• Inspects and measures parts to detect wear or misalignment.
• Repairs drive mechanisms or hydraulic systems and tests operations after repair.
• Modifies computer-controlled functions on various equipment.
