Job summary

JTM Foods, LLC is seeking a 3rd shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Wichita, KS. You will maintain and repair production equipment, troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
• Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment
• Perform welding and light fabrication as needed
• Maintain building systems and facility equipment
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety, food safety, and quality requirements
