Job summary

Publix Super Markets seeks an In House Maintenance Technician in the Industrial Maintenance department. The role focuses on maintaining building systems, industrial equipment, and three-phase power circuits across our warehouses.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and manuals, repairing and adjusting machinery, and performing plumbing, carpentry, welding, and cutting as needed. The position requires the use of CMMS to document repairs, and candidates may be classified as Class A, B, or

Qualifications

• Age 20+ and hold a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Read, write and solve math problems; operate CMMS.
• Must obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals; follow instructions.
• Maintain hand tools; work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-focused mindset.
• Willingness to advance within the department.

Responsibilities

• Repair and adjust machines, install new equipment, and perform plumbing, carpentry, welding and cutting.
• Read blueprints/schematics and use manuals for maintenance tasks.
• Use CMMS to generate and process repairs and track work performed.
