Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Florida is seeking an In House Maintenance Technician (Class A, B, or C) to maintain and repair building systems and industrial equipment across our facilities. You will read blueprints and manuals, install new equipment, and perform plumbing, carpentry, welding and cutting.

The role requires proficiency with a CMMS, the ability to lift 40 pounds, and the willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and manuals.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with night/weekend/holiday shifts and extended hours.
• Must pass required tests and safely operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and adjust machines and equipment.
• Install new equipment as needed.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, welding and cutting tasks.
• Utilize CMMS to generate and process maintenance repairs.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for tasks.
