Publix Super Markets is seeking an In House Maintenance Technician to operate on building systems and industrial equipment across our warehouses. You will read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to repair, adjust and install equipment, and perform plumbing, carpentry, welding and cutting tasks.

CMMS is used to manage repairs and service records. The role supports the Industrial Maintenance department with diverse hands-on tasks and requires the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when

Qualifications

• Be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• Lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Able to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Able to interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Able to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Be able to work with little supervision and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Repair and adjust machines, install new equipment.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, welding and cutting tasks.
• Use CMMS to generate and process maintenance repairs.
