Farmer Focus in Acorn, VA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician on the 2nd Shift to perform daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and special projects that support production in a poultry processing environment.

You will diagnose and repair machinery using hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and electrical testing devices, perform preventative tasks, respond to emergencies within 30 minutes, and help maintain a clean, safe plant with focus on

Qualifications

• Proven industrial, manufacturing maintenance, or electrical experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of good safety practices.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Proficiency in using common hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and electrical testing devices.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks involving machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond to emergency call-ins within 30 minutes.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to support smooth business and production operations.
• Repair, install, adjust, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the processing plant.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects, including breakage, excessive wear, or other signs of malfunction.
• Repair or replace broken, defective, or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
• Respond to emergency call-ins within 30 minutes as required.
