Job summary

Civil Recruit is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II for a Denver-area dairy/milk processing facility. The role is primarily third shift (10pm–6:30am) with potential for second shift; unionized environment with senority-driven shift assignments.

Candidates should be flexible with days and may include weekends. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with GMP and safety

Qualifications

Requires minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
Food manufacturing equipment experience is ideal.
Ability to read and understand prints and engineering specs.
Must be able to operate in a noisy manufacturing environment and comply with GMP/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment by performing preventive maintenance on motors, conveyer systems, and production machines.
Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagrams, manuals, and specs.
Identify sources of problems by observing equipment in operation.
Remove defective parts and inspect components using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools.
Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and complete maintenance paperwork daily.
Prepare daily setup of equipment and adhere to safety procedures (LOTO, GMP).
Support production with downtime reduction and accurate downtime/work order documentation.
