Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair production equipment, ensuring reliability and safety across plant operations. The role requires hands-on skills in mechanical systems, welding, and preventive maintenance, with standard safety practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work a day shift, 7am-7pm, and support upgrades, startups, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and understand English for safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, overtime, and extended shifts as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, drive, steam, plumbing).
• Perform preventive maintenance using a computerized maintenance system.
• Support equipment upgrades, start-ups, and capital or special maintenance projects.
• Review and update engineering drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
• Perform welding/fabrication (MIG, TIG, stick) as needed.
• Coach operators with equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
• Participate in safety, quality, and equipment performance problem-solving.
