Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Albion, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support corrugated sheet equipment on the 2nd or 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, ensuring uptime and safety compliance across the plant.

The role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, reading drawings, and documenting maintenance activities. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, and education assistance.

Qualifications

1+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or military setting.
Experience reading electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
Experience with bearings, gears, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to urgent requests.
Work with motors, conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Repair electrical control devices, including drives and controllers.
Maintain maintenance records and support safety guidelines.
