Job summary

R&L Spring is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems in Lake Geneva, WI.

You will work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment, perform preventive maintenance, interpret schematics, read blueprints, and support safety programs while upholding a strong team culture in a clean, well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Diagnose issues with motors, controls, sensors, drives, and automation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Install, maintain, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Support facility and building maintenance activities, including utility systems, equipment support, preventive maintenance, and general infrastructure upkeep
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Assist with equipment installations, moves, and basic welding/fabrication projects.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
