Job summary

Steele Solutions Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Worker L1 for first shift to uphold equipment and facility maintenance. Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across multiple Wisconsin locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, and a valid driver’s license. Travel between Wisconsin sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience preferred in steel/metal manufacturing
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Wisconsin locations

Responsibilities

• Completes preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other equipment
• Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment (drilling machines, paint line, presses, forklifts)
• Performs routine electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment
• Performs general maintenance and repairs of facility and grounds (carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, groundskeeping)
• Inspects all building locations and schedules repairs
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies
• Uses measuring tools to perform tasks
• Supports operations as needed
