Job summary

Lippert is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment on a full-time, first-shift basis in Indiana. The role requires reading manuals, using basic tools, and performing preventative maintenance while ensuring safety standards and 5S practices are followed.

Welding and metal fabrication experience is a plus. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues with welders, conveyors, hoists, doors, and related machinery, and coordinating with maintenance

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing/industry experience preferred.
• Experience with machine operation and repair; welding competency preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret manuals, frame prints, measurements; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain operations/production equipment.
• Safely perform maintenance tasks using hand and power tools; weld or fabricate metal if needed.
• Diagnose/resolve issues with welders, torches, saws, and finishing equipment; support conveyors and ovens as required.
• Diagnose/maintain/install production hoists and overhead doors; ensure safe operation.
