Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Advanced Maintenance Technician for our client in Darien, WI. You will troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment to keep production running smoothly on a straight 1st shift.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and hands-on skills with gearbox rebuilds, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and 480V motor controls/Allen-Bradley PLCs. Background check required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with gearbox rebuilds, bearing, shaft, and gear replacement.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Proficiency with 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Background check and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Perform gearbox rebuilds and replace bearings, shafts, and gears.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Complete welding and fabrication projects as needed.
• Troubleshoot 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Respond to equipment downtime and implement effective solutions to minimize production interruptions.
• Support preventative maintenance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
