Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc. seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician in Arlington, TX. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the plant.

You will use CMMS to manage work orders, track downtime, and coordinate parts. This role requires strong troubleshooting, safety discipline, and the ability to work with 3-phase wiring in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work with single-phase and 3-phase wiring (110V/220V/480V).
• Safe use of industrial power tools and basic measuring tools.
• Ability to stand for full shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Reliable, accurate, and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and wear required PPE.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and safe.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules through CMMS.
• Order parts, maintain inventory levels, and track maintenance spending.
• Track downtime, prepare basic reports, and use Excel and maintenance software effectively.
• Support other departments and complete additional tasks as assigned.
