Job summary

Bartlett Co. in Statesville, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, repair, maintain, and refurbish milling, processing, and grain handling equipment, including 3-phase electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and fabrication.

The role requires safety focus, the ability to work extended hours, and reading/writing English; a valid background check may be required. Compensation starts at $26/hour with overtime opportunities and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in 3 phase electrical (3P) systems.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Understanding hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Welding and fabrication skills as part of maintenance work.
• Reliable transportation to and from site.
• Must be able to understand and follow written/verbal English instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Commitment to safety in all maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and refurbish milling, processing, and grain-handling equipment.

The Basics

Compensation: $26/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be mostly day hours, with some overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.

What you’ll be doing:

The duties of this hands-on job will include installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing milling, processing and grain handling equipment. This will include 3 phase electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding and fabricating. Industrial Maintenance Technicians will work extended hours and callbacks on short notice. You are responsible for food safety.

Requirements to be successful in this position:

• Knowledge in 3 phase electrical
• Electrical blueprint reading
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Knowledge of pneumatics
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
