Bartlett in Sheffield, IL is hiring for a hands-on Grain Elevator Operator. The role involves receiving, storing, handling, drying, blending, and loading grain, while monitoring grain conditions and ensuring safe, clean facilities.

Cross-trained to perform multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The position offers 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) with ample overtime, including weekends, and a competitive $21/hr starting pay with benefits.

Qualifications

The Basics

Location: Sheffield, IL

Compensation: $21/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 2nd shift, 2pm-10:30pm, M-F with ample overtime, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED


• Reliable transportation
