Core Linen Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our full-time team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment in a high-volume laundry facility, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant operations.

You will work with production supervisors, engineering teams, and external vendors to minimize downtime, support preventive maintenance, and uphold our safety standards.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components, such as belts, bearings, drives, jams, ironer tape, overhead rail systems, and conveyor systems.
• Document all maintenance activities, including completed work, ongoing issues, and required follow-up, to maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Communicate equipment status, anticipated downtime, and repair timelines with production supervisors and engineering personnel as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our full-time team. Industrial Maintenance Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment to promote optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production equipment during operations to detect potential issues and perform necessary interventions to ensure equipment integrity.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components, such as belts, bearings, drives, jams, ironer tape, overhead rail systems, and conveyor systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures or urgent maintenance needs, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes.
• Document all maintenance activities, including completed work, ongoing issues, and required follow-up, to maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Communicate equipment status, anticipated downtime, and repair timelines with production supervisors and engineering personnel as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering staff, maintenance team members, and third‑party vendors on technical and mechanical tasks.
• Comply with all safety procedures, such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and working safely on energized or hot equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to support overall plant safety.
• Perform additional maintenance or operational duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2–5 years of industrial or plant maintenance experience preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of plant maintenance, including electrical systems, boilers, hydraulics, compressed air, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics as well as mechanical and plumbing blueprints.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
• Experience in supporting or helping with the installation of new equipment is preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Understanding of industrial safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, reliability, and effective communication abilities are essential.
