As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of commercial laundry plant equipment. This position is designed for a proactive and skilled individual who can effectively perform both preventive and emergent maintenance tasks, ensuring that all machinery and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with key equipment, working closely with technical and engineering teams, and maintaining rigorous safety and operational standards.

Maintenance Technician - Summary

• Responsible for performing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance tasks on commercial laundry equipment.
• Ensures efficient and safe operation of all assigned plant machinery during production.
• Performs preventive maintenance and emergent repairs as needed.
• Identifies and resolves equipment issues such as jams, mechanical failures, and missing components.
• Documents all maintenance activities to ensure clear communication and record-keeping.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules on all plant equipment.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks, focusing on overhead rail and conveyor systems to minimize downtime.
• Provide support to technical, mechanical, and outside vendor personnel as necessary.
• Maintain a detailed maintenance log, recording incomplete tasks and any new issues that arise.
• Inform Production Supervisors of the status of equipment, especially when issues may impact production or cause downtime.
• Respond promptly to emergent repairs and collaborate with the Engineering department for technical support when needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tag out, confined space entry, and safe handling of hot equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote workplace safety for all associates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support plant operations.
